Not banned, only 1 product recalled: Everest on spice row in Hong Kong, Singapore

Spice brand Everest has refuted reports of ban in Singapore and Hong Kong after the countries issued an alert over the presence of ethylene oxide pesticide in certain products. "Everest isn't banned in either country. Only one out of 60 Everest products has been held for examination," the company said. Ethylene oxide is classified as 'Group 1 carcinogen' by IARC.
