Not introduced now, Emergency in NCERT books from 2007: Yogendra Yadav

Swaraj India founder Yogendra Yadav criticised Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday after he praised NCERT for introducing a section on the 1975-1977 Emergency in Class 9 textbooks. "This is a lie. There was a full chapter on Emergency in NCERT textbook since 2007. I was involved in writing it," Yadav said. He further said Emergency wasn't hidden from students.
