Not justified to say crypto ban will cause losses: RBI's Deputy Governor

RBI's Deputy Governor T Rabi Sankar termed the argument that banning cryptocurrencies would lead to a loss of wealth as "not justified". Giving three reasons, he said, "Investors can be provided with a reasonable exit". He added, "Cryptocurrency investors were fully aware of the risks," and "There's no data to justify the amount of investment or number of investors".
