Not ours, it is Indian representative's view: IMF on 8% growth forecast for India

International Monetary Fund (IMF) issued a clarification after Krishnamurthy Subramanian said that the Indian economy can grow at 8% till 2047. Subramanian is India's Executive Director at the IMF. "The views conveyed...by Mr Subramanian were in his role as India's representative at the IMF," spokesperson Julie Kozack said. "We'll be presenting latest forecast in a couple of weeks," she added.
