Not possible to get unadulterated ghee at ₹320/kg: TDP amid Tirupati laddoo row

TDP spokesperson Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy said it's not possible to procure unadulterated ghee at ₹320/kg "when the market rate for good quality ghee can be ₹900/kg". He alleged the YSR Congress government awarded ghee tender to the lowest bidder, who quoted ₹320/kg. This comes amid allegations that animal fat was found in ghee used to make Tirupati laddoos.
