Not rarest of rare case: Court as Kolkata doctor's rapist Sanjay Roy gets life term

The Sealdah court said the rape and murder of a doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital doesn't fall in the 'rarest of the rare' category. The convict, Sanjay Roy, was given a life sentence by the court. The court also ordered the West Bengal government to pay ₹17 lakh as compensation to the victim's family.
