Not related to financial irregularity: Tata Steel on Jamshedpur FC's ISL withdrawal

After Jamshedpur FC confirmed they won't participate in the ISL from the 2026-27 season, Tata Steel Vice-President (Corporate Services) DB Sundara Ramam said the decision was taken by the Tata Steel board. He added that it had "no connection of any kind with any financial irregularity or discrepancy". The club hadn't paid the ₹55-lakh first instalment of the participation fee.
