Not responsible for cargo delays caused by Suez Canal blockage: Evergreen

Taiwanese firm Evergreen Marine Corporation, which chartered the Ever Given vessel that blocked Suez Canal for six days, said that it is free of responsibility from cargo delays due to the incident. "Our risk exposure...is very low...even if there are damages, it'll be covered by insurance," Evergreen's President Eric Hsieh said. The blockage impacted a dozen ships used by Evergreen.
