Nothing to do with talent: Apurva on being picked for Pardes over Salman

Recalling his role in filmmaker Subhash Ghai's Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Pardes', which Salman Khan was interested in portraying, actor Apurva Agnihotri said, "It has nothing to do with my talent." "I've to thank Shatrughan Sinha's wife Punam...She got in touch with Mr Ghai," added Apurva. Ghai earlier said he refused to cast Salman as he needed someone who was stylish.
