Notice issued to 150-yr-old mosque in UP's Rampur over 'illegal encroachment'

The Public Works Department (PWD) has issued an encroachment notice over a 150-year-old mosque and shrine in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur, saying the structure has no official record. The department said it would be removed if found to be an illegal encroachment. It added that no response was received despite issuing a seven-day notice to the concerned parties.
