Novak Djokovic, chasing 25th Grand Slam title, knocked out of French Open in 3rd round

World number four Novak Djokovic was knocked out of French Open 2026 in third round on Friday. Chasing his 25th Grand Slam title, the 39-year-old Serb was beaten by world number 30 João Fonseca of Brazil with a scoreline of 4-6, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, 7-5. Nineteen-year-old Fonseca has become the first teenager to beat Djokovic in a Grand Slam match.
