NRI woman murdered by in-laws in shocking insurance scam

A 32-year-old NRI was smothered to death by her in-laws, who wanted to claim her hefty life insurance money. The deceased woman, Rajdeep Kaur, was a US citizen originally belonging to Punjab. She was called back from the US on the pretext of a relative's wedding. Kaur was killed in Kapurthala's Nano Mallian village on January 19.
