NRIs can now use UPI for instant money transfers to India through NRE or NRO accounts. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) launched this feature, providing a faster, more cost-effective option compared to wire transfers. Currently, NRIs from 12 countries are eligible to link their international mobile numbers for seamless transactions.
