NSE, BSE closed for trading on Jan 15 for Maharashtra civic polls

National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have declared a trading holiday on January 15 due to civic elections across 29 municipal corporations in Maharashtra, including the BMC. However, BSE's commodity derivatives segment will remain open for the morning session and NSE's for the evening session. The next market-wide shutdown is scheduled for Republic Day on January 26.
