NSE, BSE extended trading hours till 5 pm on Wednesday after technical glitch

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) took a joint decision to extend trading hours on Wednesday till 5 pm in equity and equity derivatives market. This comes after stock trading in all segments on the NSE were halted earlier in the day following a technical glitch. NSE closed the F&O market at 11:40 am.
