NSE IPO kicks off with slow start as Day 1 subscription reaches 42%

The ₹22,562-crore IPO of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) saw a muted response on the first day, with the overall issue subscribed around 42%. The employee quota was subscribed 0.94 times, while retail investors subscribed 0.43 times. The portion reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) saw subscription of 0.19 times.
