The NSE has launched 11 new indices, including Nifty Power and Nifty Retail, taking the total number of sectoral indices to 34. This aims to offer comprehensive and granular coverage across established and emerging sectors. The indices are expected to serve as benchmarks for asset managers and as reference indices for passive investment products such as ETFs and index funds.
