NSE may seek SEBI nod to trade its shares on its own platform: Report

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) may seek SEBI approval to allow trading of its own shares on its platform, CNBC-TV18 reported. The proposal was discussed during NSE's ongoing IPO roadshow, with the exchange likely to seek a "permit-to-trade" status for its shares. At present, 144 companies listed on the BSE are permitted to trade on the NSE.
