NSE resumes trading after halt due to major technical glitch

India's premier exchange NSE suffered a serious technical glitch at the beginning of trade on Monday due to which trading was disrupted as price quotations for individual stocks and indexes failed to update. Following this, NSE stopped trading in both cash and derivatives (futures and options) segment. The NSE has now resumed normal trading from 12:30 PM.
