NSE to roll back 6% hike in transaction charges from April 1

NSE rolled back the 6% hike in transaction charges for cash equities and equities derivatives, effective from April 1. In 2021, the charges were increased to augment corpus of NSE Investor Protection Fund Trust (NSE IPFT). NSE also decided to recalibrate contribution to IPFT from ₹0.01 per crore to ₹10 per crore in cash equities market segment and equity futures.
