NSG sniffer dog Donny gets Army award for helping after Red Fort blast

National Security Guard (NSG) K9 Donny has been awarded the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card on Independence Day for his act of bravery. Donny played a key role in explosive detection and sanitising following the Red Fort blast in New Delhi in November 2025. Two other K9s, Lucky and Adil, were also honoured with the award for operational contributions.
