NTPC Green Energy announced that its subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy will develop a 250 MW solar project integrated with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. Approved by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the project will supply renewable power to defence establishments and is designed to strengthen energy security through solar generation and storage infrastructure.
