NTPC starts India's first green hydrogen blending project

State-owned National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has announced that it has commenced India's first green hydrogen blending project. The project is a joint effort of NTPC and Gujarat Gas Limited (GGL) and it has been started in the piped natural gas (PNG) network of NTPC Kawas Township in Surat. The facility will supply H2-NG (natural gas) to the township's households.
