NTV, 7 digital outlets booked for smear of IAS officer in T'gana

Telangana police have registered an FIR against Telugu news channel NTV and 7 digital media platforms for allegedly airing defamatory content targeting a woman IAS officer. The Telangana IAS Officers’ Association filed a complaint alleging that it insinuated a personal relationship with a political executive as the basis for the officer’s postings, which amounted to character assassination.
