Nuclear war, AI among threats which could end humanity by 2100: Study

A study published in The Lancet identified 17 threats, including nuclear war, artificial intelligence (AI) and climate change, that could potentially wipe out humanity by 2100. Nuclear conflict could have devastating consequences, including nuclear famine, the study warned. It added that the misuse of AI could pose new dangers through its application in the development of biological weapons.
