Nudity of female upper body shouldn't be regarded as obscene by default: Kerala HC

The Kerala High Court stated the "mere sight" of naked upper body of a woman shouldn't be deemed to be sexual or obscene by default. The court made the remark while quashing a case against Kerala activist Rehana Fathima pertaining to a video of her children painting on her semi-nude body. "Autonomy of...male body is seldom questioned," the court remarked.
