Number of unsold apartments in Mumbai rises to 1.09 lakh
The number of unsold apartments in Mumbai has risen up to 1.09 lakh, most of which are in the Western Suburbs followed by Central Suburbs. The flats are said to be unsold because they are unaffordable due to heavy taxes. "People want to buy but are not able to due to pricing," Pankaj Kapoor, founder of Liases Foras, said.
