NVIDIA, SK Group unveil $500-bn plan for AI data centres, memory

NVIDIA and South Korea's SK Group have unveiled a $500 billion joint initiative to build AI infrastructure. The initiative includes a long-term partnership with SK Hynix to secure next-generation memory supply for NVIDIA. Additionally, SK Telecom will also construct a 2-GW AI data centre powered by NVIDIA's Vera Rubin chips, launching in 2027.
