Nvidia adds $277 billion in market value, biggest one-day gain by a company ever

AI chip maker Nvidia has recorded the biggest-ever one-day increase in a company's market value. The company's market capitalisation increased by $277 billion to around $1.96 trillion after it closed 16.4% higher on Thursday. It surpassed the previous record that saw Meta jump nearly $197 billion in a single day earlier this month.
