Nvidia AI chips worth $1 billion smuggled into China: Report

Nvidia's advanced AI chips, worth $1 billion, were smuggled into China during the three months following the US government's chip export controls and efforts to limit China's access to cutting-edge semiconductor technology, FT reported. The prohibited B200 chips, along with other restricted models, were found in China's black market. US reversed the export restrictions on chips like H20 in July.
