NVIDIA becomes 3rd US stock to close above $2 tn market valuation

NVIDIA's market capitalisation on Friday closed above $2 trillion for the first time, making it the third US-listed company after Apple and Microsoft to achieve the feat. Its shares jumped 4% to close at $822.79. The chipmaker's market capitalisation briefly hit the $2 trillion mark last week before receding by the end of the session.
