Nvidia CEO buys $108 mn of AI computing, donates it to researchers

The foundation of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and his wife, Lori, ​bought computing power from AI cloud-computing company CoreWeave for $108.3 million and donated it to universities and other nonprofit institutes. The computing ​resources will be used for science and artificial ⁠intelligence research. The chipmaker also plans to offer free engineering ​services to some of the grant recipients.
