Nvidia under fire for missing ROPs across RTX 5090 GPUs

Some Nvidia GPU users are reporting less than advertised Render Output Units (ROPs) across the RTX 5090 and RTX 5070 Ti. As revealed by tech powerup's application 'GPU-Z', the RTX 5090 was spotted with 168 ROPs instead of the advertised 176. Nvidia called this a production anomaly and asked affected users to contact board partners for replacement.
