Nvidia unveils breakthrough tech that eliminates data centres' thirst for water
Nvidia unveiled Rubin-generation AI servers that use 100% closed-loop liquid cooling with a water and propylene glycol coolant operating at 45°C. The system, which runs at temperatures "warmer than a hot tub", eliminates the need for water-intensive cooling towers and chillers. Nvidia said it cuts power consumption and nearly eliminates massive water thirst of traditional air-cooled data centres.
