NY police cancels trial of Boston Dynamics' 4-legged robot dog

The New York Police Department has cancelled its trial of US-based Boston Dynamics' four-legged robot dog, Digidog, after receiving criticism over its use. The department has terminated a $94,000 contract with Boston Dynamics and will be returning the robot. A spokesman for Mayor Bill de Blasio, Bill Neidhardt, said he was "glad the Digidog was put down".
