NYC councilwoman accuses Mayor Mamdani of 9/11 symbolism

NYC Councilwoman Vickie Paladino accused Mayor Zohran Mamdani of sending a symbolic message to Osama bin Laden through his planned participation in the 9/11 25th anniversary commemoration. Controversy also arose after a signing pen was passed to a lawyer who previously represented an al-Qaeda operative. Mamdani's office defended the actions as official capacity.
