NYSE teams up with Securitize to create a blockchain platform

The NYSE is reportedly teaming up with Securitize to launch a blockchain platform for tokenised stocks and ETFs. Securitize will serve as the digital transfer agent, allowing 24/7 trading, near-instant settlement and stablecoin payments. The initiative aims to offer "native" tokenisation where investors retain full shareholder rights like voting and dividends.
