NZ's Santner and McConchie record highest 7th wicket partnership in T20 World Cup history

New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner and Cole McConchie today recorded the highest seventh-wicket partnership in T20 World Cup history. The duo shared 84-run stand in their T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eight match against Sri Lanka. The previous record was held by Australia's Michael Hussey and Steve Smith, who shared a 74-run stand against Bangladesh in T20 World Cup 2010.
