Oct 7 was the day when we failed to protect citizens: IDF chief

Israel on Monday marked one year since Hamas attacked the country. Remembering the day, Israel's Chief of the General Staff Herzi Halevi said, "A year has passed since October 7th, the day we failed in our mission to protect the citizens of Israel." He said, "We began this year from a difficult and painful point, but we regained our composure."
