Odisha approves 10% quota for ex-Agniveers in state's uniform services

Odisha cabinet led by CM Mohan Charan Majhi approved the proposal to provide 10% reservation for former Agniveers in the state's uniform services, the CMO said in a post on X. The former Agniveers will also be exempted from physical efficiency tests. Odisha Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja said such reservation shall be over and above the reservation applicable for ex-servicemen.
