Odisha CM calls for steps to reduce maternal and infant mortality

Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi called for measures to reduce maternal, infant and newborn deaths, particularly in rural areas. He sought better maternal and child care, stronger emergency services, improved Anganwadi food checks and action against malnutrition. He directed Health Department to take campaign-based measures and officials to intensify 'Suposhita Odisha' to improve child nutrition.
