Odisha CM inaugurates state's longest river bridge over Mahanadi

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik on Monday inaugurated the state's longest river bridge over the Mahanadi river at Cuttack's Gopinathpur. The 3.4-kilometre-long bridge, connecting Singhanath Temple and Baideswar, will reduce the distance by 45 kilometres. "I believe that it will improve tourism, agriculture and trade...play a key role in the socio-economic development of the people," Patnaik tweeted.
