Odisha govt announces free education from KG to PG

Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi announced free education from kindergarten to post graduation in all government institutions in the state. The move is likely to benefit over 10 lakh students and will cost the state ₹30 crore annually, The Indian Express reported. Majhi further said the government will appoint over 45,000 teachers over the coming years to improve education quality.
