Odisha govt to launch natural farming in tribal areas through women's SHGs

In a step toward sustainable agriculture, the Odisha government has decided to roll out a programme for climate-resilient natural farming through women's self-help groups. The scheme will be undertaken in tribal-dominated areas of five districts, namely, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada and Koraput. An amount of ₹312 crore will be invested in the project over five years.
