Odisha halts Chilika boat rides till Oct 29 as Cyclone Arnab nears

As Cyclone Arnab approaches, Odisha authorities suspended boat and ferry services in Chilika Lake and restricted movement from October 26–29. Over 305 fishermen have been sheltered at Paradip Harbour. IMD issued red and orange alerts for heavy rainfall. The cyclone is expected to cross the Andhra Pradesh coast near Bapatla-Visakhapatnam by October 28.
