Odisha launches helpline number for protection of abandoned animals

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday launched a state helpline number to provide emergency healthcare services to abandoned and stray animals in the state. The toll-free number '1962 or 155333' will be available round the clock and will extend veterinary service through animal ambulance in 11 urban areas. The CM also launched a tele-veterinary service.
