Odisha woman walks again after complex joint surgeries

Manipal Hospital, Bhubaneswar, restored mobility to a 35-year-old Odisha woman with advanced ankylosing spondylitis and fused joints. After a decade of pain and being wheelchair-bound, she underwent complex hip and knee replacements in 2024. Customised implants, careful surgical planning, and rehab helped her regain strength, balance, and independence.
