Odisha's Ganjam district tops list with highest jobs under MGNREGA

Odisha's Ganjam district topped the list in providing employment under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). According to officials, till Monday, over 1 lakh households in the district were provided at least 100-day work in financial year 2021-22. Ganjam was followed by Rajasthan's Barmer and Nagaur, wherein 94,586 and 82,731 households respectively received work.
