Oil prices flat as chances of US strike on Iran recedes

Oil prices were flat on Friday with both Brent and US. West Texas Intermediate moving only a few cents from their closing prices after the likelihood of a US strike on Iran receded. Brent slips to $63.73, WTI edges up to $59.22 in early trade. EIA data showing bigger-than-expected rises in US crude and gasoline stocks weighed on the market.
