Taxi aggregator Ola has deployed boats in Chennai's waterlogged areas to rescue stranded people. The boats are manned by professional rowers and can accommodate five to nine persons in one trip. The boats are also equipped with umbrellas and food and drinking water. Ola's business head for Tamil Nadu said these boats would be available over the next three days.
